This shoot depicts how we mask our emotions. For us, the notion of a true self is misleading. The greatest enigma is one of self. We mask our sadness. We mask our pain. We put on a smile, trying to trick others and most importantly deceive ourselves into believing we’re ok. It’s ok not to be ok. It’s okay to express those emotions. Models will depict raw emotions in various ways through posing and facial expressions.
